Face-To-Face Interviews (CAPI)

CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing)

CAPI stands for Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing. It is a face-to-face data collection method where trained interviewers use mobile or tablets to ask questions and record answers directly into a digital questionnaire.

Instead of using paper forms, CAPI allows interviewers to follow a pre-programmed script, including skip logic, validations, and routing. This ensures greater accuracy, faster data entry, and a smoother experience for both the interviewer and the respondent.
