Privacy Policy

At iKOnet, safeguarding personal data is not just a responsibility — it’s a core commitment. We fully align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), issued by the European Union and effective from 25 May 2018, which represents a significant evolution in protecting individuals’ privacy rights. This includes stringent requirements around informed consent, data minimization, the right to access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and protection against automated decision-making and profiling. These rights ensure individuals remain in control of their personal information. At iKOnet, we go beyond compliance — integrating smart technologies, robust security protocols, and continuous team training to ensure that all data we collect, store, and analyze is handled ethically, transparently, and securely.

At iKOnet Research & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., we are dedicated to conducting ethical research and safeguarding the rights of our participants. This Opt-In and Opt-Out Policy explains how individuals can voluntarily join or withdraw from our research panels. We communicate with panel members through various channels, including WhatsApp Business API (in compliance with WhatsApp policies), our mobile applications, websites, and voice or video calls (recorded with prior consent).

Participation in future panel studies is strictly voluntary. Consent is obtained through a telephonic confirmation, during which individuals explicitly agree to be contacted for upcoming research.

All panelists receive clear information about the nature of our studies, their rights as participants, and how their data will be used in compliance with privacy standards.

Participants can opt out at any point by contacting us via phone, email, or any previously used communication channel.

Once an opt-out request is received, the participant is promptly removed from all future contact lists, and their data is handled in accordance with data protection regulations.

Choosing to opt out will not affect the participant in any way, and there will be no attempt to re-engage them without their renewed consent.
